Soccer Party and awards!!!

A couple of weekends ago the little guy had his end of the season soccer party, one of the kid's parents own a resturaunt right at the beach, they were so kind and let us have a great party there with tons of pizza, drinks and cake! The kids had a blast and thought that their trophies were awesome!!! Our neighbor is on the same team as us and so we had to get a picture of the two of them together since they are such great buddies!!

Well my parents came to visit us,unfortunately they had to endure the Nor'easter with us man did we get a lot of rain and wind good grief. But we still had a great time, it was sad to see them go!

Here are some pictures of the little guys last game, I think that he had a good time throughout the season, and he is one of the kids that actually was out on the field 95% of the time, since at this age half of his team would not even go play! :)

Making S'MORES!!!

The little guy got to make Smores for the first time the other night at our Friends house, we let them roast the marshmallows them selves since we had a grate over the open fire, however the little guy did not like to get too close to the fire, so I roasted the marshmallows for him and he enjoyed the smore immensely!!!

Here is the big guy at the pumpkin pathc a couple of weeks ago he had a great time, with his buddy Mia, and mom and dad of course, man how times flies I feel like he was six months old just a fw months ago where does the time go?! What a big boy we have!!

We just got back from Disney a week ago, the little guy had a blast! I can not even begin to explain to you the excitement that he had for going to Mickey's house and getting to see all of his favorite characters, well he was not sure of them up close and personal, of course like any boy he LOVED the Go-Karts we rode those things at least 6 times, there were no lines anywhere and so we got all around all of the park with great ease! Wow this was such a great time, from our cool hotel, the wilderness lodge, to breakfast with mickey, to the amazing food the last night that we were there! I really think that we would go back next week if we could!

Labor day weekend

Labor day weekend brought us some very special visitors, Jen jason and Gavin came in town for a visit and Jason ran the Rock n Roll 1/2 marathon! We had a really really good time with them, Donny took all of us to the Uss Harry Truman where he has been working from lately and told us about all of the goings on, on the flight deck. We had a really good time Reece and Gavin had a blast together and we are already looking forward for their next visit!

The other night the little guy and I were making brownies, and I asked himif he wanted to stir, of course he thought that would be great! Well when I turned back around I noticed that the lttle guy had been sampling the brownies when I asked him about tasting them he said "No I did not taste them" hmmmm I think that he might have been fibbing! ha

Promotion

Donny got promoted at the begining of the month! We are so proud of all of his hard work and dedication to the Navy! Congrats Donny!
